Publisher Description
Derived from the Greek word "biblion", meaning "set of books", the Bible is the most widely read book in the history of mankind. It has more than six billion printed copies, seven times more than the Red Book, second placed on the list.
The Bible is the most important book of Christianity, having sacred value. In 2 Timothy 3:16 we read that "All scripture is divinely inspired and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness," it means that the authors of the bible wrote what God wanted them to write. Thus transforming the Bible into the Word of God for man, and thus a doctrinal document of the utmost importance.
